Based in Stockholm, this swimrun training camp will make you discover this sport at its origins, where everything started. You will be able to explore the Stockholm archipelago, but also the city of Stockholm and some nature reserves around the Swedish capital.
Sure the purpose of this course is the exploration but also one objective is to achieve a performance: Ångaloppet swimrun, www.angaloppet.se. The highlight of this camp is to race the most popular swimrun race in the world, the one that has the highest number of participants. You will have the opportunity to take your family with you because some free time will be allocated to visit Stockholm and its surroundings. An Ångaloppet family race is also organised on saturday.

8.30h to 9.30h – Open Water at Sickla and breakfast.
17h to 19h – Sickla swimrun. Immersion in the world of swimrun with a local training: Sickla swimrun. This group training has become a key event in Stockholm to adjust the equipment or to test the teamwork with the teammate.
Wednesday 9th: Stockholm archipelago swimrun
9h to 17h – The swimrunners will be able to discover a fantastic island of Stockholm archipelago. Utö is the island that finishes the World Championships, ÖtillÖ. From Årsta Havsbad (harbour 30km south of Stockholm) in the morning by boat and travel to the island of Utö. Swimrun and also use of bikes (to avoid long runs and can see more of the island). Possibility to take the family with you on that day. After training meal in one of the local island restaurant.

Thursday 10th: Swimrun to explore the Nature Reserve around Stockholm
8:00h to 12:00h – Meeting at cafe Urban Deli for a breakfast together.
Local bus to Hellasgården with your change of clothes for after the training.
From there we will swimrun all the way back, swimming in magnificent forest lakes and running some of the best single tracks of Sweden.
Sauna and Lunch at Hellasgården. Free afternoon
Friday 11th: Swimrun out of the marked paths
8:30h to 9:30h – Open Water at Sickla and breakfast. 10:30-12:00: Swimrun exploration in the nature Reserve.

8:30h to 9:30h – Open Water at Sickla and breakfast.
Very quiet and relaxing morning. Preparation of all equipment for the big race.

Sunday 13th: ÅNGALOPPET SWIMRUN
Possibility to participate at Ångaloppet. (Registration fee not included in the price. If you wish to participate, check with us)
